Apprentices learn on the job, build up knowledge and skills, gain qualifications and earn money at the same time.

You may be called an apprentice, a Modern Apprentice, or an industry trainee, depending upon your age and the type of industry you’re working in.

You will have a training agreement with an Industry Training Organisation and you will work towards a National Certificate on the National Qualifications Framework.
